Zentrum für Politische Schönheit kommt in den Audimax!
Das Zentrum für Politische Schönheit (ZPS) ist eine Sturmtruppe zur Errichtung moralischer Schönheit, politischer Poesie und menschlicher Großgesinntheit – zum Schutz der Menschheit. Wir setzen auf Menschlichkeit als Waffe, vertreten den aggressiven Humanismus und experimentieren mit den Gesetzen der Wirklichkeit. Widerstand ist eine Kunst, die weh tun, reizen und verstören muss.
Grundüberzeugung des ZPS ist, dass die Lehren des Holocaust durch die Wiederholung politischer Teilnahmslosigkeit, Flüchtlingsabwehr und Feigheit annulliert werden und dass Deutschland aus der Geschichte nicht nur lernen, sondern auch handeln muss. Das ZPS gehört zu den innovativsten Inkubatoren politischer Aktionskunst in Deutschland.
Die Referentin Cesy Leonard ist Künstlerin, Filmemacherin und Chefin des Planungsstabs des Zentrums für Politische Schönheit. Als Kind von Migranten begann ihre künstlerische Laufbahn als Graffitiartist in Stuttgart. Für das Zentrum für Politische Schönheit leitet sie das Filmdepartment und ist Teil des kreativen Kernteams. Ihr Film „Schuld – die Barbarei Europas“ gewann 2012 den Web Video Award.
The Zentrum für Politische Schönheit (ZPS) is a storm troop to establish moral beauty, political poetry, and human greatness – to protect humanity. We rely on humanity as a weapon, represent the aggressive humanism and experiment with the laws of reality. Resistance is an art that must hurt, irritate and disturb.
The basic conviction of the ZPS is, that the lessons of the Holocaust are disregardet by the repetition of political apathy, refugee defense and cowardice, and that Germany not only has to learn from history, but must also act. The ZPS is one of the most innovative incubators of political performance art in Germany.
The speaker Cesy Leonard is an artist, filmmaker and head of the planning staff of the ZPS. As a child of migrants began her artistic career as a graffiti artist in Stuttgart. She heads the Film Department for the Center for Political Beauty and is part of the creative center team. Her film ” Schuld – die Barbarei Europas ” won the 2012 Web Video Award.
